Moving servers

I’m gonna be moving the site to a new server (it’s a good thing) hopefully tomorrow. When I actually move the domain both the site, and the forum may go down temporarily. I’ll try to keep it as brief as possible. I’m gonna leave this message on the old server, but not on the new one, so if you sign on, and this message is gone the new site is up an running. In addition the forum will be staying on this server. Since it will no longer be part of AF it will have it’s own new URL which will be AnimeFixForum.net (tried to keep it as close as possible), and as soon as it’s up and running at it’s new address the links on the site will be adjusted to direct you to the correct address.

Dogs Director Abe Indicates a Madhouse Film is on Hold

Tatsuya Abe, the director of the Dogs: Bullets & Carnage anime and a key animator on Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie and other titles by the MADHOUSE anime studio, reported in a February 7 blog entry that an unnamed theatrical film project from “Ma_house” has been put on hold. He added that the contracted staff members have been dismissed. Abe noted that he was not directly affected by this, but he nevertheless expressed his concern.

Abe lists himself as the director of the Dogs: Bullets & Carnage video project in his profile. (Dogs: Bullets & Carnage was animated by David Production and not MADHOUSE.) He has also been discussing his recent and upcoming animation work on the Seikon no Qwaser and B Gata H Kei anime series in recent blog posts. Seikon no Qwaser and B Gata H Kei are being animated by Hoods Entertainment and Hal Film Maker, respectively.
